Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center and First National Bank of Durango will sponsor a workshop, “Introduction to QuickBooks,” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 28 at Southwest Colorado Community College, 33057 U.S. Highway 160, in Mancos.
Laura E. Hokanson, CPA, QuickBooks pro-advisor and accounting professor at Fort Lewis College, will teach the workshop, designed for business owners who are not accountants. Hokanson will explain software, how to save time and business finances.
Cost is $70, or $65 for chamber members. Participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch.
