Reader says don’t print unfounded opinions

After reading the March 4 paper about the “opinions” of three women living in Durango (but formerly from Russia or Ukraine), I wondered why The Durango Herald chose to print their Putin-induced lies. If they believe we are part of the problem, then they should get the hell out of our country! It is so hypocritical of them to live here and think they can perpetuate the fake news of the Russian dictator. I guess the images of tanks surrounding cities in Ukraine must be the western Neo-Nazis. Why did this paper allow such nonsense to be printed? If someone told you in an interview that the world is flat, would you print it even though you knew it to be blatantly false? Women and children are dying in Putin’s effort to claim an independent country as his property. This is a huge humanitarian crisis, and we should not tolerate those that try to tell us otherwise. Please do not print the unfounded opinion of every person that can talk, we already have Lauren Boebert to be ashamed of for representing us in Congress!
