Brazilian surfer Carlos Burle rides a giant wave Monday at the Praia do Norte, north beach, at the fishing village of Nazare on Portugal’s Atlantic coast. Surf media suggest it could be the biggest wave ever surfed – 100 feet. According to Guinness World Records, American Garret McNamara holds the record with a 78-foot wave surfed at the very same spot in Nazare in November 2011.
