San Juan Basin Public Health and Axis Health System have announced an upcoming change to Title X services in Archuleta and La Plata counties.
Effective Jan. 1, 2021, Axis Health System will take over providing Title X services for both counties.
SJBPH and Axis will continue their partnership to provide reproductive health care and expand access to family planning services in both La Plata and Archuleta counties.
The Title X Family Planning Program offers a broad range of contraceptive methods and related counseling in an effort to reduce unintended pregnancy by ensuring clients have access to affordable, quality contraceptive and reproductive health services. People who are currently served by the Title X Family Planning Program will not experience a gap in services because of this change.
