Durango has lost a great asset due to a well-deserved retirement. Roger Ayers worked for General Electric as the field engineer in Durango and the Four Corners for 42 years. He was responsible for the installation, maintenance, repairs and upgrades of all of the GE X-ray equipment, CT scanners and MRI equipment. He often would be called upon in the middle of the night to diagnose a problem, order replacement parts and repair this technical electronic medical equipment.
Thanks to Roger for being only a phone call away when we needed his expert help while we tried to do our jobs in the medical community.
