Rocky Mountain Health Foundation has announced its second grant cycle for 2019.
The foundation expects to disburse about $450,000. General operating and programmatic grants will be awarded to Western Slope-based organizations and programs that:
Support the socially and economically disadvantaged.Provide resources for achieving and maintaining healthy, independent lives.Maintain, nurture and strengthen healthy minds and bodies.Offer opportunities for well-being and quality of life.Organizations must have both programmatic services and personnel residing in the service area and align with at least one funding priority:
Basic needs.Access to affordable physical, oral and visual health.Access to affordable social-emotional-behavioral health.Community-based health projects.The deadline for applying is 5 p.m. Oct. 4.
