More than 600 runners competed in the Thirsty 13 Half Marathon on Saturday in Durango, and a fast group at the front was led by, from let, wome’s champion Maggie Yount of Durango, second-place men’s finisher Tom Frantz of Denver, third-place men’s finisher Sam Yount of Durango, and men’s winner Ian Huang of Durango. Huang won in a time of 1 hour, 15 minutes, 35 seconds. Frantz crossed the line in 1:17:07, and Sam Yount finished in 1:17:57. Maggie Yount was the sixth overall finisher and the first woman in a time of 1:19:50. Tana Kaskalla, not pictured, was the second woman finisher in 1:23:52, and she was ninth overall.

Out of the 604 runners who completed the Thirsty 13 Half Marathon was 76-year-old Glen Walker, who finished the 13.1-mile race in 3:16:15. He placed 582nd overall and was the oldest finisher. He was narrowly edged by 73-year-old Joey Maceyak, who finished in 3:08:54.
