View the transit of Mercury at the San Juan College Planetarium safe, solar telescopic observing session, weather permitting, from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, in the San Juan College courtyard between the Planetarium and the Little Theater, 4601 College Blvd., Farmington.
In the transit, Mercury will appear to just break the edge of the sun’s disk at about 5:35 a.m., reach the midpoint of the transit at 8:30 a.m. and exit from the sun’s disk at about 11:04 a.m.
