San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington announced that nurse-midwife Anne Miller was selected to receive the American College of Nurse-Midwives Outstanding Preceptor Award.
The award honors a preceptor of certified student nurse-midwifes who has shown outstanding qualities for leadership and teaching, served as a mentor for several students and has consistently promoted high standards of midwifery education.
Miller has been a certified nurse-midwife since 1984 and, since 2009, has worked for San Juan Regional Medical Center’s San Juan Health Partners Midwifery and Women’s Health division.
She graduated with an bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in nurse-midwifery from Columbia University.
