The San Juan Regional Medical Center Emergency Medical Services Department, for the third year consecutive year, received the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold Award for implementing quality improvement measures to treat patients who experience severe heart attacks.
Mission: Lifeline EMS recognizes emergency medical services for improving systems of care to identify suspected heart attack patients, notify the medical center and trigger an early response from hospital personnel.
