San Juan Regional Medical Center to offer free community flu vaccinations

San Juan Regional Medical Center will offer five free flu-shot clinics at five different Four Corners locations as part of its commitment to keep the community healthy.

The drive-thru flu-shot clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 26 in the north visitor parking lot at the corner of Maple Street and Schwartz Avenue in Farmington. To avoid traffic backups, wear a short-sleeved shirt, or roll up sleeves ahead of time, and be ready for the vaccine.

The free flu shots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for adults ages 18 and older. Those 18 or older, adults 65 years and older, pregnant women and people with certain underlying medical conditions are encouraged to get a flu shot.
