San Juan Regional Medical Center recently received the Roadrunner Recognition Award at the 2018 Quality New Mexico Learning Summit and Performance Excellence Awards ceremony at Isleta Resort and Casino in Albuquerque.
The hospital was one of three organizations in New Mexico and the only organization in the Four Corners to receive the award, which recognizes outstanding operations and quality care.
San Juan Regional was also the only organization in New Mexico to receive four certificates for excellence in quality improvement for outcomes from emergency department arrival to provider contact; stroke education; sepsis bundle compliance; and outpatient pain management for long bone fractures.
