The American Lung Association will offer its eight-week “Freedom from Smoking” program from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays Sept. 4 to Oct. 16, with an additional class Sept. 27, in the medical office building conference room at San Juan Regional Medical Center, 407 South Schwartz Ave., in Farmington.
The series will be led by a respiratory therapist, who will show how smokers can quit in a safe, supportive environment, with tools and resources to overcome tobacco addiction.
The class is limited to 12 participants. A $25 supply fee for booklets is required and the registration deadline is Sept. 3.
