Ska to launch Moral Panic on Friday

Ska Brewing Co. plans to debut its Moral Panic Brut IPA in cans Friday at the brewery’s world headquarters in Durango.

Herald Staff Report

Ska Brewing Co. plans to debut its Moral Panic Brut IPA in cans Friday at the brewery’s world headquarters at 225 Girard St. in Durango.

Brut IPA is an emerging IPA style subcategorization, and Ska is Colorado’s first brewery to can a Brut IPA with year-round availability, said Emily Hutto of RadCraft, Ska’s communications support co-op, in an email.

The brewery’s promotional materials describe the beer as a “super aromatic, bright IPA with champagne-like dryness.”

Ska had Moral Panic on draft this summer, and its canned form will hit the brewery’s 12-state distribution footprint beginning Dec. 7. The beer is the first year-round addition to Ska’s canned lineup since the debut of its Rue B. Soho grapefruit lager earlier last winter.
