Socialism not the answer to anything

Is Socialism the Answer?

“The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries,” Winston Churchill said.

America has seen the vices and virtues of capitalism since our birth 243 years ago. With all its faults, our free enterprise system has encouraged entrepreneurial spirit, risk-taking, job creation and economic growth. Because of our success, we have been able to help those who need help the most, the disadvantaged at home and the oppressed overseas. The world without America would have been a far less healthy and far less safe world.

America without a vigorous free enterprise system will be a weaker nation and the world will suffer.

Supporters of a socialist America should ask which socialist countries help the world when it needs it? Which are the socialist countries you travel to for health care? Which socialist countries do the world’s best and brightest emigrate to? Venezuela? Sweden?

“The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money,” Margaret Thatcher said.

The only answer is America with a strong economy and a healthy free enterprise system, strong enough to have the respect of the world. An America strong enough to defend freedom and aid those who need us.

Socialism is not the answer! It will bring a slow death to America and result in a poorer and more dangerous world.
