Speeders are really frustrated drag racers

Here's a thought: Maybe we can start with 32nd Street, if the city lads might ever get the upper end of it finished. Methinks in the last three or four years, a few young lads “up the way” started something, and now copycats have decided that the posted limits should really be a “suggestion.”

Might add Main Street as well. Seems the going north crowd – see mob – especially has decided that Main Street, with its cool takeoff from El Camino when the light changes, should be at least 45 to 55 mph. Well, unless you have a Lambo; then it's whatever blows your dress up.

Indeed, the city of Durango might seriously consider putting those nice new signs above the posted speed limit signs. Maybe in flaming yellow/orange fire colors, or dark red colors … like pooled blood when the Lambo runs up the tailpipe of a lifted 3/4 ton Ford F-350. As if our First Responders don't have enough “action.” But hey, just a ramblin' thought.
