Spring Rewards and more

The Durango Business Improvement District reminds you that the Spring Rewards promotion is underway. BID has nearly $11,000 to give away as a reward for shopping local!

BID’s Spring Rewards promotion is presented by Alpine Bank and is sponsored by Urban Market and the Durango Chamber of Commerce. A receipt that is from any of the nearly 400 eligible businesses, is at least $25 and is dated no earlier than April 1 qualifies for the program.

You can combine up to 10 receipts to reach a spending level of $250 or $400. If you spend $250, you earn a $25 gift card as your reward. If you spend $400, you earn a $50 gift card. You pick the business for your gift card from a list of 16 amazing businesses.

BID has 250 rewards that total nearly $11,000. Help us give all of this away by shopping local this spring. Visit DowntownDurango.org/Spring-Rewards to see how many rewards are available and to submit your receipts. BID expects all rewards to be claimed by the end of the month, so don’t delay and submit your receipts today.

BID is offering a training for hotel and retail employees who are in customer-facing positions at businesses in the BID. The goal is to help these employees answer commonly asked questions from visitors to our town. BID will provide information about how to refer people to local restaurants, how to respond to questions about parking and how to help visitors find what they need. The training also includes tastings at several Downtown restaurants. To learn more, email Tim at timw@downtowndurango.org.
