Last Saturday night, I was downtown and witnessed three adult men harassing a local disabled resident on the sidewalk for selling democratic party buttons. These bullies, seemingly from out of town, were repeatedly and aggressively yelling obscenities at the individual, and saying, “Go Trump.”
To them I say, “Shame on you. Have you no decency?” The isn’t Nazi Germany or 1950s McCarthyism. Or is this what things are coming to with a president who also makes fun of the disabled, or for that matter, anyone else he dislikes with his disgraceful tweets and remarks?
The world is rapidly losing respect for the United States, and justifiably so.
