Support the Pine River Library

We are retired educators who use the local library for services other than those traditionally used by library patrons. While we value the large selection of books, the after-school programs and the many classes that are offered through the library, we find that we utilize the library for a variety of other reasons.

The community rooms are open to local service clubs, local women's groups who are interested in exercise, and even those interested in investing in the stock market.

The library community rooms allow for speakers to come in and share their experience or expertise with our residents.

Celebrations such as the annual Zucchini Festival bring people from all corners of our valley together to enjoy one another, to learn and to compete in friendly competitions. These are the benefits our local library offers us!

We had the opportunity to share an eclipse at the library with many of our friends and neighbors. We enjoyed an afternoon of music in the new park.

Our library provides us with so many opportunities for growth and celebrations. It seems that the current request for a small increase in the mill levy is a small way to support the many ways the library supports us! When you consider the increase is about the same cost as one of our favorite fancy coffees, the sacrifice is minimal, and the continued service is priceless.

Join us in supporting the Pine River Library, vote YES for the library mill increase. Vote Yes for the children of our community.
