People interested in obtaining a Colorado teacher's license can learn about the Boettcher Teacher Residency.
No prior teaching experience is required.
The sessions will provide an opportunity to meet faculty and learn about the program and application process.
Boettcher residencies allow applicants with a college degree to teach four days a week, then attend a weekly seminar, for one school year. There are four more years of teaching and professional training required to complete the program and receive a teaching license.
An information session will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the Miller Middle School library in Durango. Another session will be held at the same time on Thursday, Jan. 25, at Pagosa Springs Middle School.
