Thank you for voting in primaries

I want to send a huge thank you to all of those who came out to vote in the primary elections. It is not only important to make our voice heard, it is our duty to cast our vote. This election cycle is more important than ever for our children, our communities and our bank accounts.

We can no longer treat our children like a political football; we need to focus on providing the best foundation for them to build upon so that they can become productive citizens. They are our future and ignoring them means we fail to ensure our survival.

We must safeguard our communities and take drug dealers off the streets; this so our families and our friends can thrive.

We can no longer afford to live in the cities nor afford the gas to drive in from the country. We must find ways to make Colorado affordable again for our working families, our agricultural industries and our retired citizens.

This is what concerns us, our friends and our neighbors. This is what drove us to the polls this week.

Thank you, again, for taking part in our republic. Thank you for being a part of what makes America a great nation.
