Animas High School students, staff, board and families would like to extend a sincere thank you to the community partners and sponsors that helped with the fall fundraiser and silent auction. We appreciate the title sponsor Alpine Bank and the continued commitment to education. Durango Motor Co. supports programs and students all year, and provides additional support from the Toyota Gives program. Gratitude is extended to Durango Urgent Care, Spine Colorado, Fort Lewis College, Jaynes Construction, Bank of the San Juans and the Payroll Department. Special thanks to AHS senior, Izzy Simpson, for her work as the silent auction chair and all of the talented students, staff and families who donated work to the auction or volunteered at the event.
We wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe holiday season!

The Durango High School sports and entertainment marketing classes would like to thank Jenny Vierling of Tailwind Nutrition for working with students on the marketing mix project. It was great to see how a local manufacturer successfully makes and markets a product. Classes also enjoyed proposing marketing strategies for Tailwind and receiving feedback. We wish Jenny and Tailwind success during 2018 and beyond!
