12:02 a.m. People were running in the street causing a disturbance in the 2900 block of Richard Drive. Police made at least one arrest.

4:26 p.m. A power washer was stolen from the Giant Shell station, 602 Camino del Rio.

6:46 p.m. A man was lying on a rock all day near the Parkside Terrace Townhomes, 1 East Sixth Ave.

8:14 p.m. A 34-year-old man was kicked in the face in the 100 block of east Eighth Street.

10:42 p.m. A dog chained to a pole outside a bar was barking while the owner was inside the bar in the 900 block of Main Avenue.

Saturday

12:21 a.m. Someone was burning pallets in the 2900 block of Richard Drive. Police issued a warning.

11:06 a.m. Police and medics responded to a single-vehicle rollover near the Iron Horse Inn, 5800 Main Ave.

2:35 p.m. A man was possibly waving a gun in the Walmart parking lot. About a half-hour later, someone report a man was sitting in the grass putting bullets in a gun.

3:42 p.m. A drunken man wearing jeans and no shirt was stumbling in the 800 block of Camino del Rio. Police issued a warning.

4:09 p.m. Two men had pistols, possibly bb guns, and were loading them and playing with them near south City Market, 6 Town Plaza.

7:06 p.m. A man was trying to enter a house in the 1200 block of Avenida del Sol. Police made an arrest.

Friday

1:02 p.m. Juveniles tried to smash a window with their skateboards, according to a report in the 1100 block of Camino del Rio.

1:22 p.m. Someone suffered a cut near the eye after an assault at the skate park, 950 Roosa Ave.

6:54 p.m. A maroon Toyota Tundra was spinning doughnuts in the 1100 block of Goeglein Gulch Road.

8:04 p.m. Several vehicles were drag racing in the La Plata County Fairgrounds parking lot, 2500 Main Ave. Police issued a warning.

11:39 p.m. The driver of a white Corvette was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in the DoubleTree Hotel parking lot, 501 Camino del Rio.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 60 calls Thursday through Sunday, including two assaults, a sexual assault, a gas leak on Lime Mesa Court, an odor of gas in the 100 block of Rock Point Drive, a vehicle on fire in the 3000 block of County Road 225, northwest of Bayfield, and six traffic crashes.
