2:34 a.m. Police and medics responded to a fight involving multiple people, including a woman who had part of her ear bitten off, according to a report in the McDonald’s parking lot.

Saturday

1:09 a.m. A man with a knife was refusing to leave a restaurant in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

3:39 p.m. A man in a black hoodie was yelling at traffic in the 200 block of East College Drive.

Friday

1:51 p.m. A man was standing in the middle of the road yelling in the 1000 block of Main Avenue.

4:49 p.m. Someone reported a man skateboarding with a baby in a front carrier near Mercy Regional Medical Center.

5:37 p.m. A woman threw a rock through a window in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 54 calls Thursday through Sunday, including an assault; a brush fire in the 1500 block of Florida Road (County Road 240); two elevator rescues, one at 3190 East Animas Village Drive and another at 20310 U.S. Highway 160; three reports of smoke outside; a structure fire in the 400 block of Alpine Forest Drive; and three traffic crashes.
