10:02 a.m. Someone found a billfold in the 500 block of East Second Avenue.

11:45 a.m. Someone dumped motor oil in a dumpster at the waste water plant in Santa Rita Park, 149 South Camino del Rio.

12:07 p.m. Two teenagers were fishing illegally at the White Water Park in Santa Rita Park.

10:54 p.m. A drunken hitchhiker yelled at a woman and punched her car near the DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio.

Saturday

1:17 a.m. A man grabbed another man’s girlfriend at Wild Horse Saloon, 601 East Second Ave. Police made an arrest.

3:59 a.m. Someone reported a continuous problem with a bear going through trash in the 200 block of west 32nd Street, and the bear was causing a noise disturbance.

10:50 a.m. People were gathering around a tree with a bear and two cubs in it near 14th Street on the Animas River Trial.

6:22 p.m. A man was being combative and throwing food at Detox, 1125 Three Springs Blvd.

8:23 p.m. A man ran out of Home Depot with a saw. Police made an arrest.

Friday

9:12 a.m. Someone was damaging property with a fire extinguisher in the 100 block of Confluence Drive in Three Springs subdivision.

9:14 a.m. Multiple protesters were causing problems outside Planned Parenthood, 46 Suttle St.

2:01 p.m. A drunken man urinated on a building wall at Rite Aid, 28 Town Plaza.

4:27 p.m. A man found luggage under his tree in the 200 block of Jenkins Ranch Road.

4:45 p.m. A large bag of insulation was in the road in the 800 block of South Camino del Rio near the Durango Mall.

4:58 p.m. A traffic light was not changing and people were running the light in the 1300 block of Main Avenue.

7:29 p.m. A man punched a woman’s boyfriend in the face in the crosswalk near Denny’s Restaurant, 666 Camino del Rio.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 65 calls Thursday through Sunday, including a brush fire on Ryan Court, a flood or mudslide in the 6600 block of County Road 203, a power line or transformer problem at a gas site in the 3700 block of County Road 307, three reports of trees on fire and eight traffic crashes.
