8:02 a.m. A vehicle hit with a deer in the 5000 block of Main Avenue.

10:41 a.m. A T-bone traffic collision occurred in the southbound lane of South Camino del Rio at the Sawyer Drive intersection.

12:41 p.m. A woman reported that someone had siphoned gasoline from her vehicle’s fuel tank in the Fired Up Pizzeria employee parking area, 741 Main Ave.

4:03 p.m. A man was yelling and waving a cane around at Durango Transit Center, 250 W. Eighth St.

8:38 p.m. A man was trying to get into an apartment at 510 East Seventh Ave. Police made an arrest.

8:49 p.m. An intoxicated man was passed out in the lobby of McDonald’s, 201 W. College Drive.

10:23 p.m. Someone reported that a shoplifter just ran through the Walmart parking lot toward the Mongolian Grill, 1155 S. Camino del Rio.

11:37 p.m. A man was lying on the side of the road at Fairfield Inn & Suites, 21719 U.S. Highway 160.

Saturday

1:31 a.m. Someone was breaking into vehicles in the alley near Main Avenue and West 10th Street.

2:13 a.m. Someone was trying to get onto the second-floor balcony of a unit at 235 Rock Point Drive. Police made an arrest.

4:49 a.m. An intoxicated man damaged someone’s property at 20 Primrose Circle, in the Three Springs subdivision.

11:07 a.m. Someone asked police to remove a man who was smoking outside businesses in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

11:33 a.m. A ladder was reported stolen at 906 Oak Drive.

12:06 p.m. A suspicious older man in a white Dodge Ram was reported to be talking to young children at Brookside Park, 2301 Main Ave.

4:24 p.m. Someone reported that some neighbors were banging on their door and making threats at 2350 West Third Ave.

9:06 p.m. An intoxicated man was being belligerent outside Carver Brewing Co., 1022 Main Ave.

10:52 p.m. Someone reported a loud, possibly drunken party with lots of yelling and screaming in the alley behind CJ’s Diner, 819 E. Fifth St.

Sunday

12:20 a.m. Police received a report that someone with a gun stole a car at Narrow Gauge Motor Home Park, 34344 U.S. Highway 160.

11:20 a.m. A 22-year-old man broke his finger and was bleeding uncontrollably at Grassburger, 726 Main Ave.

1:24 p.m. A needle and burnt spoon were found in the laundry room of the apartments next to Taco Bell, 151 E. 29th St.

3:06 p.m. A child’s stroller was found under the south side of the bridge at Rotary Park, 1565 East Second Ave.

7:18 p.m. A man reported that someone came at him and a woman with a hammer in the Walmart parking lot, 1155 S. Camino del Rio.

10:52 p.m. An intoxicated man was yelling at customers and dragging his walking stick across the Eighth Avenue Tavern, 509 East Eighth Ave.

Monday

12:08 a.m. A woman who was possibly high on methamphetamine refused to leave Colorado Pongas, 121 W. Eighth St.

5:20 a.m. A trashcan was on fire at 863 Main Ave.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 48 calls Thursday through Sunday, including nine sick people, four traumatic injuries, three traffic crashes, two cases of an unconscious and unresponsive person, one headache, an incident of cardiac or respiratory arrest and a report of smoke outside.
