11:28 a.m. Someone reported a large canopy set up and a few people hanging out near the shoreline of Lake Nighthorse, which remains closed.

4:40 p.m. A minor was riding a dirt bike up and down the roads in Forest Lakes subdivision, north of Bayfield.

8:23 a.m. A man wanted to talk to deputies about a neighbor’s trash blowing into his yard in the 1100 block of County Road 222, southeast of Elmore’s Corner.

Saturday

7:10 p.m. A man and a woman in a silver GMC truck were littering while parked on a gravel road in the Hermosa Creek Camp Ground north of Durango.

10:20 p.m. A man was trying to break into a house in the 6000 block of East Animas Road (County Road 250).

Friday

9:50 a.m. A boy kicked a hole in a wall and was refusing to go to school, according to a report in the Narrow Gauge Mobile Home Park, 34344 U.S. Highway 160, east of Elmore’s Corner.

3:39 a.m. A tow truck hauling a van broke an awning at the Exxon gas station near 25th Street and Main Avenue.

Monday

8:50 a.m. Someone found trash and mail dumped along Overend Park Trail near the Crestview entrance.

11:36 a.m. A woman was sleeping and vomiting on herself in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

1:57 p.m. A landlord drove by someone’s house taking pictures and video in the 2400 block of West Second Avenue.

4:29 p.m. Someone wanted to talk to police about a man who was armed on the Animas River Trail near the 200 block of Animas View Drive.

Firefighters and medics responded to 17 calls Monday, including three people experiencing chest pain, two people who fell down and needed help and a vehicle on fire near County Road 220 and U.S. Highway 550.
