1:06 a.m. A man was lying in the middle of the road with a bicycle on top of him near Oak Drive and Florida Road.
8:09 a.m. Someone reported finding a bicycle in a tree in the 700 block of Main Avenue.
10:48 a.m. A man dragged a dog across a parking lot, and he was abusing it in the Walmart parking lot.
12:01 p.m. A woman was smoking crack or some other substance in an alley in the 2900 block of Main Avenue. Police made an arrest.
12:30 p.m. A woman heard a loud explosion in the 200 block of Perins Canyon Drive.
8:05 p.m. A man suspected of taking methamphetamine busted a car window in the east 700 block of First Street.
10:28 p.m. Someone reported loud music and a bonfire in the 200 block of Jenkins Ranch Road. Police issued a verbal warning.
Friday
2:12 p.m. Someone reported a bicycle rack stolen from an alley in the 600 block of East Third Avenue.
5:50 p.m. A guest left without paying and trashed a room at Durango Downtown Inn, 800 Camino del Rio.
Durango Fire
Firefighters and medics responded to 39 calls Thursday through Sunday. The calls included two assaults, a gas leak in the 200 block of County Road 216, and a report of smoke near Purple Cliffs. Two traffic crashes were reported: at the top of Farmington Hill and another in the 48000 block of U.S. Highway 550, just south of Purgatory.
