2:03 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer, and the vehicle was smoking in the 26500 block of U.S. Highway 160.
Tuesday
2:30 p.m. A drunken man with a sleeping bag wrapped around his neck was being disorderly at Walmart.
3:15 p.m. A driver in a white Oldsmobile was swerving into oncoming traffic in the 27000 block of U.S. Highway 550 north of Durango. Police issued a citation.
4:23 p.m. A driver in a white Nissan Pathfinder was swerving all over the road in the 1200 block of Camino del Rio.
11:14 p.m. A man who was hitchhiking near Needham Elementary, 2425 West Third Ave., ran in front of someone’s car. Police made an arrest.

Firefighters and medics responded to 10 calls, including three traffic crashes: one near County Road 126 on Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141), a second on County Road 234 northeast of Durango, and a third on South Camino del Rio.
