12:05 a.m. A vehicle alarm had been sounding for two hours in the east 800 block of Third Street.

Sunday

12:35 p.m. A man and a woman were fighting verbally and physically at a location not given by authorities. The person who alerted police didn’t know if there were weapons at the scene. An arrest was made.

3:40 p.m. A guest was damaging a room in a motel in the 800 block of Camino del Rio.

SATURDAY

12:19 a.m. Two men were walking through a motel parking lot in he 100 block of east Fifth Street shining a flashlight suspiciously.

8:15 a.m. A woman found a wallet in the 900 block of Main Avenue.

6:09 p.m. A resident of the 1300 block of Florida Road was concerned that her 18-year-old daughter was in a room with a man across the hall.

Thursday

8:09 a.m. Teenagers were running across U.S. Highway 160 west at Animas High School.

12:16 p.m. A caller reported suspicious activity around her house in the 100 block of East Seventh Avenue.

Durango Fire & Rescue

Durango Fire & Rescue Authority responded to 40 calls from Thursday through Sunday. Crews answered calls for seven sick people, four people with seizures, three falls, three fire alarms and a Dumpster fire.
