4:36 a.m. Four men were causing a disturbance in the hot tub at Hillcrest Apartments. Police made at least one arrest for an alcohol offense.

Sunday

5:55 p.m. A woman was hit by a drunken woman behind Conoco, 901 Camino del Rio.

6:41 p.m. Someone reported that employees at a restaurant in the 2600 block of Main Avenue were feeding bears.

Saturday

12:30 p.m. A dead raccoon in the middle of the road was causing a traffic hazard in the 1700 block of West Second Avenue.

12:35 p.m. A man was asleep inside the bathroom at the Durango Welcome Center, 802 Main Ave.

5:02 p.m. About 40 people were drinking and being loud near the Animas River Trail behind Durango High School, 2390 Main Ave. Police made at least one arrest.

6:10 p.m. A car and a motorcycle were involved in a crash at the roundabout in the 1000 block of Goeglein Gulch Road.

10:10 p.m. Two women were fighting at or near Colorado Pongas, 121 W. Eighth St. Police made at least one arrest.

11:33 p.m. A man was destroying property, hitting himself and the walls at Detox, 1125 Three Springs Blvd.

Friday

10:04 a.m. A woman found a refill gun magazine buried in her backyard in the 1900 block of Glenisle Avenue.

11:52 a.m. Someone was in possession of marijuana at Durango High School, 2390 Main Ave.

6:04 p.m. A drunken woman almost got hit by a car near Florida Road and East Animas Road (County Road 250).

6:18 p.m. A man vandalized mannequins at Fallen Angel, 801 Main Ave. Police made an arrest.

11:23 p.m. The windshield was smashed and tires were slashed on a 2008 black Mercedes-Benz in the 500 block of Main Avenue.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 51 calls Thursday through Sunday, including two assaults, a brush fire near Avenida del Sol and Forest Avenue, an elevator rescue at 835 Main Ave., three traffic crashes and a vehicle on fire in the 4000 block of Florida Road (County Road 240).
