Durango Fire

Monday

Firefighters and medics responded to 11 calls, including a report of smoke indoors in the 48400 block of U.S. Highway 550, near Purgatory Resort. They also responded to three traffic crashes: one in the east 700 block of College Drive, a second in the 2400 block of Rim Drive and a third near West Second Avenue and 26th Street.

An earlier version of the Blotter erred in saying people were trying to break into a man’s room at the Knights Inn. The motel at that address is no longer called Knights Inn.
