The Electoral College is now perverted

The Electoral College is not so much an outdated system as a perverted one.

There is no reason we shouldn’t elect presidents by a nationwide popular vote. The candidate with the most votes in the U.S. wins.

I support the National Popular Vote law (Colorado SB19-042) and encourage others to do the same. Every vote should be counted!

The Electoral College performs nothing like the framers of our Constitution intended. Electors are not known by the people they represent, and in most cases, their names do not even appear on the ballot.

The two major parties have totally taken over the process and successfully wrestled control from the people. This is not a state issue and we are not voting on yet another representative for the state – we are voting on a national leader, for all the people!

A citizen of the United States should not be penalized just for where they live at any given time within these United States.

I want my vote counted! I want your vote to be counted as well (regardless of affiliation).
