With the current state of chaos in our government, the Herald can provide an important reporting service to residents of CD3.
After your endorsement of Jeff Hurd for CD3, I would like you to report on how he is working on our behalf.
Specifically, what is he doing for the $174,000 salary he is earning? (roughly 2.5 times the average salary in his district.)
What votes has he taken? What is he doing in the committees that he serves on? What activities is he involved in that benefit the residents of CD3?
I would like to see an article at least monthly that reports on, and details, his activities in Washington.
The Herald has D.C.-based intern reporters and this would be a great opportunity for them to provide us with news that we can use during the 22 months ahead until the next election.
When we were stuck with Lauren Bo Bo, the entire nation was reporting on her clown show. Now with Hurd, your reporting would be exclusive but very valuable.
