CSU Extension and The Garden Project of Southwest Colorado will host the 13th Annual Tour de Farms from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 17 beginning at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Tour de Farms is a bicycle tour of local farms and gardens, highlighting what is unique, healthy and homegrown about the local agricultural and gardening community. There will be a short, family-friendly ride and a longer ride. After the rides, there will be an after party at Ska Brewing. There will be live music, prizes, free beer and local foods for lunch.
Tickets are $25 and will include a commemorative pint glass, lunch and a beer.
