Tim Wheeler has lived in Durango for 30 years as a resident and business owner. During this time, he has been actively involved in community supporting endeavors, be this the Climate Energy Action plan, Local First, Four Corners Office of Resource Efficiency (4CORE) and more. For the past six years, he served on the La Plata Electric Association board as directors for District 4, which is the northeast part of La Plata County. Besides being familiar with the ongoing process of LPEA exiting Tri-State Generation, he is board treasurer and also on the search team for LPEA’s new CEO.
