The workshop “Optimal Wellness Through Nutrition: Living an Anti-Inflammatory Lifestyle” will be held from 8:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Research has shown links between food, health and disease. The workshop will address how food and lifestyle choices have the capacity to fight inflammation and support overall health.
Speakers include Dr. Sarah Goodpastor, obesity and weight management physician from Mercy Internal Medicine; Susie Young, oncology certified registered dietician; and Missy Rodey, senior health adviser and former nutrition educator.
The event is sponsored by the nonprofit Blueprints of Hope. The cost is $10 per person, which includes lunch catered by Bloom Café.
