An introductory workshop about the neurobiology of trauma and the autonomic nervous system will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Pine Room at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Ruby Jo Walker, an interpersonal neurobiology trainer, will explain the trauma and resiliency neurobiology of the autonomic nervous system, help participants understand how trauma changes neurobiology and cover practices that support nervous system regulation.
The event is free and open to all.
