Ukraine leader claims peace plan support
MINSK, Belarus – The Interfax news agency is quoting Ukraine’s president as saying the leaders he met with in Minsk, which included Russian President Vladimir Putin, support his peace plan.

Putin, whose country is accused by Kiev and the West of arming and supporting the rebels, said separately Tuesday that he had an “overall positive assessment” of the meetings, which included a face-to-face session with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko as well as joint sessions with him.

The first site, known as Tamchen, features plazas, palatial buildings and a 45-foot-tall pyramid.
The second, known as Lagunita, was first discovered 40 years ago by American researcher Eric von Euw.
