I’m sad, appalled and outraged that Rep. Scott Tipton would vote for what amounts to a sick tax on people like me who are cancer survivors; and worse, even for children. One Republican congressman even said that only bad people get sick. Is this who Tipton prefers to align with over his own constituents?
Everyone’s insurance will be affected, even those who receive employer-based coverage. This bill will also throw our state into financial chaos and passes the buck down to the state Legislature to determine benefits.
I sat by Tipton in first-class a few weeks ago on a flight to Denver and he proclaimed he would not vote for the first version of the Trumpcare bill, and this bill is much worse.
Yes, people, Tipton travels in first-class. He waits until all the other passengers board and then sneaks into his seat. He seems fine with traveling first-class for himself but couldn’t care less if his constituents have first-class insurance. #Sad.
