It’s time to show the city what we think

Based on a costly, bogus survey mailed only to a select group, parks and recreation monies remain untouchable.

I would argue street repairs would yield more return on investment than motors at Lake Nighthorse.

There is plenty of city/county acreage in Three Springs to build a city/county complex, police station, schools, parks, grange and community center, with ample parking and easy access. If only local pols would commit to such, for future needs, there could be over 115 acres of shovel-ready ground, with $15 million of infrastructure already provided by the Southern Ute Growth Fund. Makes more fiscal sense than a $100 million Ewing Amphitheater with a Frisbee golf course.

And yes, I have expressed these concerns in person to our politicians. A couple listened.

We need to reorganize local government to provide a Citizens’ Planning Advisory Council with some authority. Our politicians are becoming deaf to our voices. In the interim, let’s speak with our votes.
