One of the hallmarks of a wonderful community are the people that live in it and the relationships they are able to form. Ten years ago, I was truly blessed to get to know my neighbor, Chris Bettin. He was the essence of a great neighbor, and in the two short years that I lived by him I grew to deeply respect him as a man and a father.
I find it so rare to meet people of such depth and substance as Chris. He is honest, he cares about our community, he’s dedicated, innovative and creative. The Durango community is blessed to have someone like him to be willing to sacrifice their time and energy to help our community.
I am proud to know know Chris and to live in a community where he serves on city council. He’s got my vote and he should have yours, too.
