Dean Brookie has my support for two main reasons, and I hope he’ll have yours as well.
Dean did outstanding work on behalf of us all after our beloved river turned yellow, and was extremely instrumental in getting EPA Superfund status in place so that we can move forward to clean up waters above Durango.
In addition, his entire career has been about preserving the spirit and character of small towns like ours, and he has worked hard to create guidelines for accessory dwelling units, North Main Ave. revitalization and affordable housing projects.
We need Dean’s energy – please join me in voting for him this week.
