We had the pleasure of working with the Durango High School Student Council recently and were so taken aback that we had to let the community know: This group of kids impressed us so much with their professionalism, kindness, communication skills and willingness to do what they needed to do and beyond.
Sadly, when adults think of teens, they may think of overly dramatic whiners who barely will lift a finger except to play a video game This stereotype could not be further from the truth with the student council. Whatever they are doing at the high school and the guidance that Dale Garland is giving the kids ... Wow! It is working!
Keep up the great work, your futures will most definitely be bright. We hope we can work with you again in the future!
