Mercy Regional Medical Center recently received the Healthgrades 2018 Outstanding Patient Experience Award.
The distinction is awarded to hospitals rated in the top 15 percent nationwide, according to Healthgrades, an online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals. Mercy is the only hospital in the Four Corners that has received the award for 10 consecutive years.
Healthgrades recognizes hospitals based on clinical performance and survey responses. The survey questions focus on patient perspectives of hospital care, such as cleanliness, patient room noise levels, pain management, responsiveness to patient needs and recommendations to others.
