Of the individuals running for City Council, two stand out as exceptional.
Melissa Youseff has proven herself, leading and serving this community through very difficult times. She is hard-working, thoughtful, reasonable, and dedicated to serving the citizens of Durango. She does her research and makes good, balanced decisions for the long-term benefit of the community.
Her experience, knowledge and understanding that has come from serving four years on City Council, is invaluable. We should definitely re-elect Melissa Youseff!
Olivier Bosman has a degree in engineering and an M.B.A. He has managed major construction projects from the engineering and the financial perspectives and would bring knowledge and experience in these areas that none of the councilors or other candidates have. He is smart, logical, well-informed, a good listener and articulates a balanced perspective.
Having lived in Durango for many years, Olivier understands the challenges facing this community and has well-thought out ideas for solutions. He wants to preserve our way of life and help guide us to a positive future.
