Registration is open for spring and summer camps at Durango Nature Studies.
Spring Break Camp will be held from March 25 to March 29 and will provide adventure for first- through fourth-graders. Participants can sign up for individual days or the whole week. Space is limited to 13 children each day.Junior Naturalist Field Camp is a weeklong camp held during the summer for elementary school children. Participants can sign up for one of five different sessions throughout the summer.Day programs during the summer for elementary school children provide fun opportunities in single-day increments. Each day has its own theme. Space is limited to 13 children each day. Middle School Camp gives rising sixth- to ninth-graders the chance to explore the region with peers. The camp, with the theme River’s Journey, will take place during the week of June 17-21. If conditions allow, the camp will include an overnight paddling trip on the Animas River. DNS family members receive discounted registration fees.
