An inside job: A brief poem about looks

When one looks at a person,

What does one see?

A beautifully smooth visage

Is that the key?

But what’s inside

That so-called “lovely” encasing,

Creams and surgery can do no erasing.

The true [and only] beauty of self

Is tucked away

Not as noticeable as what`s on display.

Melania to me is quite ugly inside;

Therefore, her true “looks” do hurt the eyes;

A birther, remorseless escort, an enabler and empty

That’s why her initials are so apt: M.T.
