Applications open for relief funding

Southwest Colorado Respite Resources is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides funding for respite care through an application process to those who meet eligibility criteria. SCoRR pays a licensed agency for relief services directly, along with helping with other resources pertaining to respite care.

Caring for loved ones is stressful, and causes emotional and financial strain. It is often difficult to find affordable services to assist the caregiver, such as with transportation or in-home health services, commonly referred to as respite relief.

To apply for financial assistance, visit www.scorr970.org. Click on the “How to Apply” page for the application. Print and fill out the application and email it to scorr970@gmail.com or mail it to 135 Country Center Drive, Ste. F No. 62, Pagosa Springs 81147.

For more information or assistance, call 585-4031.
