With all the confusion and unverified claims flying around the so-called “Big, Wonderful Bill,” as President Donald Trump calls it, I’m hoping Hope Scheppelman or someone from the La Plata County Republican Party might step out of their self-imposed public exile and explain how this legislation benefits health care in La Plata County.
It seems like we have a lot to lose. The same folks trying to find affordable housing are never going to be able to find any affordable health insurance. As I’ve been told, it is going to take a toll on rural health care for all of us with insurance. What gives? Am I wrong about this?
